Dr. Guillermo Sanabria is a graduate of the University of Miami, School Of Medicine in 1985. He completed his Residency and Surgical Fellowship in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery from 1985 -1992 at Jackson Memorial Hospital Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
He has published multiple times regarding elderly patients. His interests include: cardiac and pulmonary critical care, CABG, Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve surgery, pacemakers/defibrillators, subcutaneous defibrillators, subxiphoid epicardial ablation surgery (convergent procedure), fiberoptic bronchoscopy, VATS, robotic surgery (pulmonary), thoracic trauma, cardiac trauma, pericardial disease, pleural disease/chest wall surgery, and thymic surgery.
